It can be preserved in a dry ceramic or glass jar for a long period of time. Once opened, use within 4 months from the date of manufacturing. Keep refrigerated when not in use.

Amla Pickle

Amla is also known as Gooseberry in English. Basically, the amla contains an extremely sour taste. So the other ingredient we add to the pickle will complement its taste. And this will give you a mesmerizing taste in each and every bite. Generally, amla is a seasonal fruit we can find only in autumn. Hence, four different types of amla were there. Banarasi, Chakaiya, Francis, Wild Himalayan Amla, are the different types.

It differs in size, but all the variety of amlas can be pickled, it gives a different flavor and taste. Most important is that we collect fresh amlas for making pickles. We wash them and dry them with attention to get rid of moisture to make a perfect amla pickle. After that, the dried amla can be cut into pieces or can be pickled as a whole.
